A day at the 37th America’s Cup Barcelona

An exclusive behind-the-scenes photo report from the 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona.
While the marina was still quiet in the early hours, I was already aboard a sleek De Antonio electric yacht, running errands between team bases and watching how they prepped their boats for the race. Shortly after, the whole port came to life — marshals towing out buoys and marks, spectator boats setting sail, and sea rescuers, along with security teams, getting into position. The energy really kicked up during the dock out shows — especially at INEOS, where F1 driver George Russell was also present — broadcast live with Jesse Tuke’s lively commentary. Once the race was underway, we shifted focus from water to land, capturing the excitement in the fan zones. The day wrapped up in the mixed zone, where I got the chance to photograph some of the sport’s legends.
